Where are America's news editors?
The same media that delighted in an Obama presidency riddled with gashes of corruption, the notion of a Hillary Clinton presidency, a witch hunt against President Trump by the intelligence community, and a Russian collusion narrative that failed to pay off for Democrats to reverse the 2016 election are now fervently pushing for a bogus impeachment inquiry.
Although I didn't support Donald Trump during the primary election, after observing how the one-party media has conducted themselves for the last three years, I'm left with no other choice but to support a president who has been unfairly battered by the press.
I witnessed the way the coastal elites belittled his supporters in the media and him throughout the 2016 presidential election.
At first, I didn't think he had a chance, and I wasn't exactly enthused with the idea of a Trump presidency. The mudslinging and reality TV persona just wasn't for me.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) was my choice in the primaries then each of the candidates fell like dominoes.
I still wasn't on board with the idea of Trump until the bias in the media and in academia intensified after he clinched the nomination and began debating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the national stage.
I now find myself in the middle, like many Americans. She was corrupt and disingenuous, and he was, well, Donald Trump, with all his character flaws.
But as 2016 continued to unfold, and November drew nearer, Americans witnessed how the media colluded with the Democratic National Committee when a presidential debate question was leaked to Hillary Clinton's camp and how Hollywood elites stooped to unprecedented lows never seen before all to destroy Trump and his family and catapult another corrupt Clinton into the White House.
What was more infuriating was the blatant attempt to demean the Americans who supported him and the valid concerns they held about the state of the economy, immigration, health care, voter fraud, and taxes by labeling them racists and half of them "a basket of deplorables."
The media bullied these people, and I, for one, have no patience for bullies, primarily when it's directed at Americans who are understandably frustrated with the system and who feel like they've been forgotten for so long.
Clinton had the media wrapped around her finger, and she still lost.
The media misled the public every day about how Clinton was going to shatter the "glass ceiling." She was and still is a real icon to feminists. 2016 was going to be their year – until it wasn't and the upset that night as the results of the election trickled in was undoubtedly satisfying for many to watch because Trump had upended their plans by a landslide.
The media not only misled the American public but misread them once and for all -- or so I thought.
The ironic thing about the media and Clinton loyalists is that they couldn't care less about the corruption surrounding former President Barack Obama, the Clinton Foundation, former President Bill Clinton, and the now grotesque actions of former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
They seem to have amnesia about Whitewater, Benghazi; the women Clinton smeared who accused her husband of sexual misconduct, Uranium One, the Clinton Foundation, Bill's ties to disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, the targeting of conservative organizations by the IRS under the Obama administration, and Obama's terrible reputation with journalists.
These same hacks are willing to assume the worst in Trump with even less evidence for the sake of overturning the results of the 2016 presidential election all because they despise him.
It was all about a faux champion of women's rights occupying the White House, who is more corrupt than any other female politician in the history of the United States.
Throughout 2016, the polls told us Hillary Clinton would win the presidency in a landslide. Remember the 92 percent likelihood? Who could forget?
And remember when Hillary said she feared that Trump wouldn't accept the results of the election?
She said, "To say you won't respect the results of the election, that is a direct threat to our democracy."
Now she's doing what she alleged Trump would do had he lost, and with no pushback from journalists.
She's currently on a book tour slamming the president, by the way.
Then, the media told us Russia meddled in the election and that the 62 million Americans who voted for President Trump were illegitimate.
Trump has been in office for nearly three years, and all the Democrats and their cohorts in the media have done is try to undo this presidency.
They pursued impeachment by way of collusion and obstruction, but after two years of investigating, Robert Mueller found no evidence of that.
So, they pivoted to something new.
Later, it was the intelligence community — specifically former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former FBI Director James Comey, and agent Peter Strzok – who was secretly plotting against the president for no valid reason other than that they disliked him.
To recap: McCabe was accused of leaking sensitive information to the media to advance personal interests and was fired by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. And then he was hired by CNN.
Then, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn) introduced a bill to eliminate the Electoral College.
"Americans expect and deserve the winner of the popular vote to win office," he said.
The Squad echoed those sentiments by calling the Electoral College a "scam," so they could stir up more support to remove the president from office.
On Sept. 30, the New York Times published an op-ed calling Trump's claims about Hunter Biden's involvement with Burisma Holdings in Ukraine "lies."
It can be said with utter certainty that if any of Trump's children were benefiting from an overseas oil company because of their father's position as president of the United States, it would be pursued aggressively by a media who has overwhelmingly partnered with a political party.
